As Billy Mays said, “But wait, there’s more,” however this is good enough for now.
SAIC
Network Engineer Manager
Starting with Senior Network Engineer to Principal, and now Network Engineer Manager. From administration, operations, and engineering, my team does it all, and I like to think we are pretty good at it, too.
Insight Global
Noc Technician
In my role, I specialized in maintaining the health of complex, multi-vendor networks by rapidly troubleshooting and resolving critical incidents. A key part of my success came from effective collaboration—I worked closely with multiple teams to improve our resolution processes and always prioritized clear, transparent communication with customers during outages to build trust. I am skilled in using ServiceNow for end-to-end incident management, consistently meeting strict SLAs and ensuring minimal downtime during maintenance windows.

Tumble out of bed and I stumble to the kitchen
Pour myself a cup of ambition
And yawn and stretch and try to come to life
Jump in the shower and the blood starts pumpin’
Out on the street, the traffic starts jumpin’

International Missions Board
Network Admin
I am a hands-on IT professional passionate about building and managing robust network infrastructures. My core experience lies in the end-to-end lifecycle of global Cisco environments, from designing data center solutions with Nexus switches to deploying secure wireless networks using WLCs and ISE. Beyond core networking, I am also skilled in Windows Server administration, supporting users on Office 365, and leveraging tools like PRTG and Remedy to ensure operational excellence and rapid incident resolution.

Juniper
My favorite network vendor at least for now we will see what HPE does. From EX4650s to old 2300’s and the branch series SRX’s not only are they fun to work I marvel at their consistency.
Problem Solving
As a Network Engineer, the crux of the position is being able to solve complex technical problems with typically insufficient time and information.
Cisco
From ISE to NEXUS, WLC, and PIX, ISR, and CAT OS, I have worked on most of the breadth of the Cisco portfolio. Whatever it is, I can get it done while wishing it was Juniper. 🙂
Leadership
Not going to say I am good at it yet but, I really want to be. I enjoy building careers, teaching, and leading in fast-paced environments. Where what we do matters and the people we do it with matter even more.
